This application is used by forwarders and shippers. Through the equipment control function, the application is also highly suitable for box and tank operators that do not have their own transport resources, but do have their own containers.
Orders come in via a booking portal, electronically via the inbox, or via manual processing in the system. With new orders, standard scenarios or trade lanes can be recorded per customer so that after each new order all sub-tasks and actions are recorded in the system and in the correct order. Because sales and purchase contracts can be entered into the system, costs and revenues are automatically determined when booking.
Progress, margin and deviations can be monitored via dashboards with performance indicators. Integrations with INTTRA and other data providers allow the progress of booking to be tracked and secured. Data integration with service providers (sub-contractors) can also be used to exchange assignments electronically and detailed gate moves are also recorded. This, per service provider and per location, creates a very good overview of the current status of the transport and insights into the current and expected equipment positions.
