Platform Paperless Transport

In addition to the airport community platform, Cofano has developed a specific platform that makes paperless transport of goods that are under customs supervision, possible.

The biggest advantage of this platform is that batches of goods that have not yet been cleared through customs or that have been notified with a follow-up arrangement, can still be transported. RTO legislation allows this process in Europe. The Cofano platform optimizes the total turnaround time between RTOs and intercontinental transport to and from the hinterland is no longer obstructed by "paperwork". In this platform a standard data exchange is set up between terminals, customs, a port community system and possibly a "2nd line" warehouse or freight service center (if it has an RTO license). The basic condition to using this platform is that customs, logistics service providers and the various freight handlers want to cooperate.
