Intermodal Voyage Planner
The intermodal voyage planner can be used to provide insight into the services offered by a shipping company.
The (potential) customer can fill in the origin and destination location on the website of the shipping line, after which the planner proposes different voyage alternatives. Depending on the customers wishes, the voyage planner can be used for orientation and to provide insight into the range of services, but also for the definitive selection of a journey whilst taking into account price, capacity and carbon footprint! The network can only consist of sea routes, but can also be expanded with an (extensive) intermodal services network for the pre- and on-carriage in the hinterland. The voyage planner is often used in combination with the booking platform or the vessel operating system.
