Truck/barge/rail visit system

During the day many trucks, barges or trains come to a terminal to collect or deliver goods in containers or (break) bulk.

To optimize waiting times and terminal capacity, Cofano has a service available which allows many different road hauliers, but also rail or inland shipping operators, to request and reserve an appointment (time slot) at one or more terminals (or terminal locations). After confirming the appointment, it is possible that a bar or QR code is issued, with which the entire gate process can be fully automated with an app. An integration with a central (port) pass system is also possible.
